Just two years after the Brazos River near Houston, Texas ran dry because of drought, hundreds upon hundreds of people have been evacuated from their homes which are now underwater. The River recently reached 54.37 feet. Worse, the National Weather Service said early today that the River was expected to rise even more. An additional 3 inches of rain could fall this week and keep the Brazos in major flood stage into the weekend. This past Sunday, extremely heavy rains caused torrential flooding not just throughout Texas, but also in Kansas and South Carolina. Austin, Texas received 9 inches of rain this week, and the floods prompted the evacuation of thousands of prisoners near Houston, and inmates in another prison on Saturday fought with correctional officers after flooding caused a power outage. Tropical depression Bonnie caused absolutely disastrous flooding in parts of South Carolina. It was reported that Interstate 95 was backed up for more than 35 miles and large stretches of the highway were completely underwater.
In the past 8 months, there have been 10 major flooding events in the United States, including the floods of the past week. Never before in U.S. history have there ever been so many major floods in such a short period of time. Michael Snyder of Infowars has documented the flood outbreak, beginning with last October. Hurricane Joaquin tracked up the east coast causing torrential rainfall and flooding all over the eastern seaboard. In South Carolina, the Governor declared it to be the worst rainfall that many areas of the State had seen in 1,000 years. In California, severe storms caused flash flooding that buried highways in “rivers of mud” that were up to 6 feet deep. Hundreds of vehicles got buried in the fast moving mud. Hurricane Patricia was the second most intense tropical cyclone ever recorded in the entire world, and remnants from the storm brought catastrophic flooding to some parts of Texas. The flood waters knocked a freight train entirely off the tracks.
In November and December of last year, what was dubbed as a “conveyor belt” of violent storms barreled along the coasts of Oregon and Washington causing disastrous flooding. The landslides and floods made headlines across the country, and it is said to be a very long time before the region can fully recover. In early December, the wettest day in the history of Portland, Oregon was the result of a storm system which also devastated the Seattle area in Washington.
In January of this year, the heart of the Nation was struck with record-breaking flooding, which was compared to the Great Flood of 1993. Missouri’s Governor said that some communities saw floodwaters get to “places they’ve never been before”. The flooding which the middle of the Country experienced was unprecedented, as it is extremely rare for it to happen in the middle of the Winter. Later that month, one of the worst east coast blizzards in history slammed Washington D.C., New York City and other major metropolitan cities. More than 3 feet of snow fell in some areas, hundreds of thousands of people lost power, and cities along the eastern seaboard coasts experienced flooding “worse than Hurricane Sandy“.
Snyder points out, that the Blizzard was dubbed “Jonas”, which is Greek for the Hebrew name “Jonah”. For those of you who don’t know your Holy Bible, Jonah was a prophet of God sent to the capital city of Assyria, Nineveh, to warn that the Judgment of God was coming. This Blizzard bearing Jonah’s name struck America’s capital city, Washington D.C., and more notably, on the exact anniversary of the infamous “Roe v. Wade” Supreme Court decision which essentially legalized abortion in America.
A Month later, nearly 2 feet of rain triggered historic flooding in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Flooding along an area of the Sabine River broke the previous record by more than 5 feet, and sections of Interstate 10 were closed for four days. Later, in April, City officials in Houston declared that flooding that struck the city was “a life-threatening emergency“, and substantial parts of Interstate 10 and Interstate 45 near downtown were fully underwater. Water was reportedly getting to areas that it had never been before, and a Fire Department spokesman said that the water was 10 to 15 feet deep in some areas. Finally, the 9th and 10th major flooding events, which I reported on to begin the article, occurred last month and the 10th continues today.
Anyone who cannot recognize God’s Judgment upon this Nation must be legally blind. Physically and spiritually. Of course, President Obama, who has done more than any other U.S. President in history to provoke God’s Wrath upon this Nation, has recently come out warning Americans of worse severe weather coming due to “climate change”. Obama has made Climate Change one of his biggest policy issues simply because it is a way to divert the blame from him and place it on the American people. He does not want the people to realize that some of the worst disasters in American history have occurred on his watch because of his blatant rebellion against God. He’d rather blame the severe storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, wildfires and flooding on the citizens poor treatment of the environment. Though our Holy Bible, which is thousands of years old, gives the specific reasons as to why The LORD’S Judgments come down upon a Nation, and like a checklist, Obama has given God reason upon reason.
Whether it be abortion, as we saw with the Jonah Blizzard, or Gay Marriage, or mistreatment of Israel (which has coincided with 8 out of America’s top 10 worst disasters), or whether it be false god worship (Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Satanism, etc.), or blaspheming God and our Lord, or persecution of Bible-believing Christians and Jews, Barack Hussein Obama has done or has pushed for ALL of these abominable things. He is solely responsible for the Judgments God has sent upon the USA. Just yesterday, he signed a Decree that the Month of June will now be “National GAY PRIDE Month”. God save us from this AntiChrist. There are many who wonder how the actions of one man can affect an entire nation, and they argue that it is not fair. Though it is fair. It is just. Barack Obama was elected by a majority of Americans TWICE. They knew how Godless he was after 4 years, and yet still desired to grant him another 4 years of power.
Obama has grossly changed the hearts of the American people, and the result has been one of the most debaucherous, sin-laden, blasphemous, backslidden societies in American history, and quite possibly world history. I’ve often given many reasons why America is right on par morally with Sodom, Gomorrah, Babylon, and ancient Rome. So, until the heart of the people changes, God’s Judgments will continue to fall. Disasters will get worse and worse. Focusing on “Climate Change” to prevent future disasters is an utter waste of time. Modern man always seems to look for any other reason to explain away national and global misfortune, rather than acknowledge that they are displeasing their Creator. Until Americans repent, and in humble prayer ask God to heal this Land and to bless us with Godly leaders, the floodwaters will continue to RISE.
“Behold, The Lord has a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a FLOOD of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.” ~ Isaiah 28:2
“Thus saith The LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing FLOOD, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall CRY, and all the inhabitants of the land shall HOWL.” ~ Jeremiah 47:2
“But with an overrunning FLOOD He will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue HIS enemies.” ~ Nahum 1:8
“And JESUS said.. upon the earth shall be distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the WAVES ROARING; Men’s hearts failing them for FEAR, and for looking after those things which are COMING on the earth.. And THEN shall they see ME (Jesus Christ) COMING in a cloud with Power and great Glory. And when THESE things begin to come to pass, then LOOK UP, and lift up your heads; for YOUR redemption draweth NEAR.” ~ Luke 21:25-28
